The Business Challenge
Kemper Insurance Company had acquired a small software company to utilize their packaged applications as part of their strategic direction. Kemper needed to determine the scalability of the acquired system because the number of Kemper people simultaneously using it would be magnitudes higher than any other customer of the software company. Once bottlenecks and constraints in performance had been identified, Kemper then needed to create a plan for enhancing the architecture.
